Access Health CT Fourth Annual Connecticut Small Business Summit to be Held May 28

The annual event brings Connecticut’s small business community together under one roof to share challenges and connect with resources

HARTFORD, Conn. (May 6, 2026) — Access Health CT (AHCT) BusinessPlus today announced its fourth annual Connecticut Small Business Summit will take place Thursday, May 28, at Water’s Edge Resort & Spa in Westbrook from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. To register, visit CTSmallBusinessSummit.com.

Since 2023, this one-day event has given Connecticut’s small business leaders the opportunity to discuss current business trends and challenges and how to address them. Attendees will have the chance to connect with a wide range of industry resources, from merchandise printing to financial lenders.

The Summit will include three panel sessions covering community-focused marketing and social media strategies, how to use AI and tech for business optimization, and the range of tax credits, grants and government programs available. This event will also feature small business-focused speakers, including Hartford Film Company founder, TJ Noel-Sullivan and Congressman Joe Courtney.

Additionally, attendees will learn how AHCT BusinessPlus can help employers manage health benefits and uncover options they may not know they have, like offering Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs).

Breakfast and lunch will be served. The event will conclude with a vendor expo with networking opportunities.

“We look forward to the Connecticut Small Business Summit every year,” said John Carbone, AHCT Director of Small Business and Product Development. “We want our local business leaders to leave with tangible insights, connections with expert resources and the reassurance that they don’t have to navigate their challenges alone.”

Instead of a registration fee, AHCT BusinessPlus is asking attendees to consider making a donation to Connecticut Foodshare.
