Access Health CT To Support Connecticut Trails Day 2018
This weekend Access Health CT (AHCT) will support Connecticut Trails Day 2018, the largest National Trails Day® celebration in the nation. With over 250 events taking place across the state on June 2 and 3, 2018, AHCT is proud to sponsor and participate in a statewide event that encourages Connecticut residents to live healthy, active lifestyles.
“We are incredibly excited to take part in Trails Day this weekend,” said AHCT Director of Marketing Andrea Ravitz. “At Access Health CT, our mission is to create a healthier Connecticut, and by supporting events that encourage fun, outdoor activities we are moving toward healthier people and communities.”
Connecticut Trails Day weekend events, organized across the state through the Connecticut Forest and Park Association, are free and have volunteer guides. Activities include hikes, family walks, trail runs, paddles, bike rides, and even historical strolls. Residents can check out the Online Directory for all CT Trails Day events in their area or beyond, for those who want to explore new places.
AHCT representatives will be at Trails Day events in Manchester and New Haven on June 2, and in Simsbury and Stamford on June 3, providing free health insurance information to attendees. “These events are great opportunities to join in the fun and educate residents about the benefits of healthcare coverage,” adds Ravitz. “We want to help Connecticut residents get insured, stay insured and use their benefits while enjoying a healthy lifestyle and all that our state’s forests and parks have to offer.”
“We encourage residents to check out the event directory, round up family or friends, and come out to join us on June 2, June 3, or both days,” adds Ravitz. More information on Connecticut Trails Day 2018 can be found on the Forest & Park Association’s website.
