• Events are free. No appointment necessary, walk-ins welcome (Hablamos español).
• Certified Brokers will be on site to help individuals who want a plan recommendation

HARTFORD, Conn. (October 29, 2019)—Access Health CT (AHCT) today announced that Connecticut residents can get free, in-person help to sign up for health insurance during the 2020 Open Enrollment period that starts November 1, 2019 and ends December 15, 2019.
“We understand that people have questions when signing up for health insurance,” said Chief Executive Officer of Access Health CT, James Michel. “This year we have implemented several enhancements to improve the customer experience, by tripling the number of enrollment fairs, offering new scanning tools to help customers verify their eligibility, and having the insurance carriers on site to guide customers post enrollment.”
To enroll, please have the following information and documents:
• Dates of birth
• Social security numbers
• Visa, green card or immigration documents
• Most recent W-2 and/or IRS Form 1040 and Form 1099
• Paystubs, profit and loss statements or other employment verification
• Current insurance coverage
